Woolworths Junior Blasters

Sessions: Friday 5:00pm - 6:00pm

Formally known as Milo Cricket, the new Woolworths Junior Blasters program is a great introduction to the basics of the game and generally suitable for ages 5-7. It covers the basics of cricket from bowling the ball, catching and batting - with the main priority to have fun. Parents are encouraged to participate in the sessions.

Under 10's

Training: Wednesday

Games: Friday 5:00pm

Great for those who have a basic handle on the game but are still fine tuning their skills. Kids are coached through a game scenario of 20 overs each week where they play teams around the local area. Whilst it is a step up from the basics of Woolworths Junior Blasters, it is still non-competitive, played on a shorter pitch and a great chance for kids to get a taste of cricket in its match form.

Under 12's

Training: Wednesday

Games: Friday 5:00pm

Builds on this format again and puts the kids in a real game scenario. In this format the kids play against local teams in the area and score their games week to week, a great introduction to cricket and still perfect for first time players. Games are played on a shorter pitch to help grow their skills and make it more enjoyable.

Under 14's

Training: Wednesday 4:30pm

Games: Saturday 8:30am

Junior cricket at this age and onwards is played at a competitive level. Teams play surrounding clubs every Saturday morning with all games scored. The mid tier stage of junior cricket.

Under 16's

Training: Tuesday & Thursday 4:30pm

Games: Saturday 8:30am

Generally the most competitive junior cricket age group as players have developed through the age groups. Teams train twice a week with games played on Saturday morning each week.

Under 18's

Training: Tuesday & Thursday 4:30pm

Games: Friday 4:30pm

For those keen on another few seasons of junior cricket, the Under 18 age group is a great opportunity to continue the pathway through to senior level. Teams train with the seniors twice a week, with games played on Friday nights.
