The Cricket Blast program is a great introduction to the basics of the game and generally suitable for ages 5-8 (boys and girls both welcome). It covers the basics of cricket from bowling the ball, catching and batting - with the main priority to have fun. Parents are encouraged to participate in the sessions.

 

Our Cricket Blast program runs from October to February on Friday nights between 5-6PM.

 

We have two great coaches who are also players at our club putting on a great session every Friday for the kids. The program runs at one of cricket grounds in Lilydale where the U10 team usually play their Friday night games.

 

Once kids have been through the Cricket Blast program they go on to join the U10 team and this gives them the ability to see what it looks like to play a real Cricket game and get support their team as well.

We provide a free trial session to all kids to come along on a Friday afternoon and see if they like it - which of course they always do!
